Thanks to CherryTheManicShopper for featuring my bags in ShopCrazy!
Thanks, too, to ShopTalk for inviting me to guest in their show in ANC today, hosted by Pia Hontiveros, which was themed “Projects for A Cause”. There’s a replay tomorrow night at midnight (that’s Wed, 14 Nov).
At ShopTalk, I met 3 wonderful women, my fellow guests – Nina Lim-Yuson who makes beautiful travel sketch books, Sana Sta. Ana who makes wonderful and functional travel journals, and Nikki Dy-Liacco whose book “The Yellow Paperclip with Bright Purple Spots” makes you want to pack now and go discover the world. Part of their sales go to ATD Fourth World Philippines, an NGO that works with families living in poverty. It’s heartwarming to meet these people who also have day jobs and manage to pursue their passions while helping others.

Comment by Ichay November 15, 2007 @ 6:52 amHi Patricia!
I hope you can come to our event on Saturday, November 24, 6PM at A Different Bookstore in Serendra. You can get a copy of ‘The Yellow Paperclip with Bright Purple Spots’ there, as well as Nina’s sketches and Sana’s journal.
And the story knows no age limit
so it “works” for adults too. Hee-hee.
Hi Ichay! Glad you enjoyed the book! Hope to see you at Serendra too.
