The Power of One. YOU.
I just received this link today and I was so inspired. Click on The Power of One title. This video reflects how I feel about using reusable bags.
Some people have scoffed at or rejected the idea of using reusable bags instead of plastic bags because the positive effects on the preservation of the environment will be miniscule. Yes, that’s absolutely correct. But the collective effort of many people doing this tiny one thing will translate to something of great magnitude.
Baby steps. One plastic bag at a time. You don’t even have to buy Luntian Bags. Use any old bag you have at home. Together, we can all make a difference.
The Power of One.

Very true, there aren’t enough people participating to make a significant impact on plastic bags, but that’s quickly changing. Larger companies like Target, Wal-Mart and Whole Foods have started advertising their reusable bags.
Those on top of fashion know that it’s slowly becoming a definite “no-no” to use plastic bags and wouldn’t be caught dead with them. Kids are also very concerned about the problem, more so than most adults!
You can find some unique, cool reusable bags designed by several talented graphic designers at our site.

Comment by Ichay April 3, 2008 @ 6:11 amI use my own bags in the palengke, Ichay, and I still am considered a do-do bird
but the vendors think I’m cool. They said if only my/our kind would multiply. I believe that with your active and upfront advocacy in media, this would just grow exponentially. You know how the general Pinoys are…basta uso! Keep it up, Ichay!
